Galactic Warfare on the Doorsteps
It seems that PACK Ruby Legion are in a slight ‘tiff’ over a series of events that recently escalated to the destruction of a PACK military outpost. This event has a good likelihood of dragging both PACK and the Ruby Legion into all out war. Alliances allied with the two are watching events closely, as there is a possibility that events may turn into a galactic wide conflict. Two alliances that are watching events especially closely are the Scorpion Guard and the TSO.
Pilots are to take special care in and around PACK and Ruby Legion space for the near term future. Fighters on both sides are likely to have itchy trigger fingers.
Paradis Gone Pirate?
It seems reports from around the Federation have indicated that one of the top pilots in the Federation has begun collecting bounties on non-aligned alliance members as well as taking shots at neutral individuals going about thier way. The indication that’s been received is that Paradis has grown bored and is taking his boredom out on any poor unaligned individual that gets in his way.
“With great power comes great responsibility.”
I hope he knows what he’s doing. I’d hate to see newbies quit the game because of another player’s boredom. What will Paradis do next? Assuming we aren’t the next in his crosshairs, we shall see.
Editorial: Where have all the traders gone?
Across the Federation, entire sectors lie in a slow decay. Rotting skeletal building float unkempt in what was once thriving sectors. Lights are on, doors are open, but nobody is home at many starbases. What happened? Some say the attrition of pilots leaving for mysteries unknown has dwindled the Federation. Others say alliance battles have driven Federation pilots from their homes. Could it be that the opening of the newly discovered Keldon sector has dilluted the number of traders/sector? Could it be that Traders have flocked to greener pastures? Unfortunately, all seem to be the case and until the doors are opened once again for new traders, the slow decay is likely to continue.
Update: Ah, but since this initial report was written, the doors have once again opened. People have rememberd how to, well, you know, and traders are flocking to all areas of the universe once again. It will be just a matter of time before they spread their influence throughout the beautiful sector of TIACKEN and the Neutral Zone.
Tiacken Public Service Announcement
The Tiacken Chapter of Mothers Against Drinking and Driving Maniacs from Hell (MADDMH) wishes to remind travelers that it is not safe to drink and shoot firearms while at the helm of a ship. So the next time your buddy pulls out his keys, his beer, and his XLR-4512a Class X Laser Rifle, remind him it’s not safe to drink, fly, and disperse firearms. Thank you.
This has been an Public Service Announcement from the Tiacken Chapter of Mothers Against Drinking and Driving Maniacs from Hell.
WANTED
Hunters wanted to eliminate the Experienced Space Pirate that cloaks near the South entrance of the Tiacken sector. This ESP has harrassed and killed traders from around the galaxy passing through Tiacken. If you are in the market for eliminating ESP’s (permanently), head on over to the Tiacken sector and fire away. We’ll be glad you did.
Investigative Report: PACK Faphida Space
Rumors have persisted that PACK was up to no good behind their wall of military outposts. Was there anything illegal going on behind those walls? Were the PACK planets stagnating over there? This dedicated reporter was about to find out! Posing as nothing more than an humble and unaligned trader, I was granted access to the secrets behind those walls of military outposts. What would we find? I was about to find out!
A MO isn’t all that imposing of a structure until you pass by one in a lowly trading ship. The code I sent for passing was an older code and I knew I was toast. Fortunately, the MO allowed me to pass. As I passed through into PACK space, it wasn’t long before I saw what I had been looking for. I had found it!
