A few announcements from the Quinto Imperio alliance this week raised a few eyebrows around the Federation. The first was a change in leadership as Quallie took the reigns from Orsan. Along with the change came the public announcement that the Quinto Imperio intended to become the largest dealer of illegal goods within the Federation.
Located out of Southern Rashkir space, the Imperio has established a protected area in the Dragon’s Nest in Southern Wayaan. Formal claims by the Imperio include the sectors on either side of Wayaan.
While no comment could be obtained from local Federation officials, we can be assured that they are not happy with the situation. It is also likely that The Pardusian Inquisition will be visiting the Imperio some time in the future.
Another Private Conflict
The AWC continues its string of private conflicts in the Federation with the announcement of the private conflict with AOL. Not much was known about AOL before the conflict but we did manage to pick up a few items from The General. The AOL stands for the Ackexian Order of the Lighthouse. AOL looks to be an alliance of mostly traders, but they seem to have a strong loyalty towards the Federation. Like all other AWC conflicts, it will be interesting to see what happens.

Delivery Mission Tidbits
When running missions, it’s a good idea to start and end the day on high population planets. That way, when you start your next round of missions, you’ll have a greater selection from which to choose.
Try to give yourself several stops before being forced to make a decision on how to run your missions – for example, in the Federation, start in the Dragon’s Den and go through Ook, before deciding whether to go up through Mirian, Lave, and the Weasel SB, to go through Andexa, Orevre, and the Weasel SB, or go through Andexa, Siberion, to Tau Ceti or Beta Proxima. The more lead time you give yourself, the better chance the turns you use will be more efficient.

Find that Ska’ari exoskeleton just too irresistible to ignore? Do you find yourself attracted to the glint in that special Keldon’s eye when she’s excited? Do the ridges of that Rashkir send shivers up and down your spine? If so, then the Kindling Interspecies Dating Service is here for you. At KIDS, we help people hook up with interested parties of the other species. While most people consider our service an abomination, we know that interspecies dating is popular among the fringe. We know that there’s somebody for everyone. Yes, that’s right, when all hope at finding that special someone is gone, the KIDS are here for you.
FHA Cleaning House
Every so often, the bigger alliances go through the ranks and clean house. With large numbers of members, its difficult for a single person to know if certain people are active, pay dues (if required), or even log in. So every so often, the bigger alliances will have a cleaning. Give members a certain time period to check in, and if they haven’t replied to a PM/e-mail, they are booted from the alliance. This makes it easier on all involved. Recently, the Freeholders Alliance went through their summer cleaning, booting 17 members from the alliance after a given time period. While the number may seem large, the efficiency of the alliance will likely not be affected, as the members that were booted, well, weren’t doing anything. Which large alliance will be cleaning house next? Time will tell.
Citizens of Tiacken:
Strength. Do not tire in your ambitions to strengthen yourselves. You are the only ones who control your destiny. Do not allow others to make you believe they have your best interests at heart. They do not. They have only one thing in mind and it is the exploitation of those weaker than themselves. Do not allow this to happen again! Learn from your past. Strengthen yourself for the future. Because the future doesn’t stop for anyone and we shall not be unprepared!
